What Size Crock Pot Do I Need To Feed Eight People?

My new boyfriend has three kids, and I have three kids. Suddenly, my crock pot is just not big enough. Up until now it has been able to feed five people with leftovers. But it is not quite big enough to cook for eight people. I know I need a bigger one, I just do not know what size I need. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I'd like to make a suggestion - what about two crockpots? Personally, I have two large ones and I've found that it has been amazing. On Thanksgiving alone it was a huge lifesaver and if you have such a big group to feed (sounds like The Brady Bunch!) it couldn't hurt to have two different meals going at once, even.

I've also found that having two crockpots has been a lifesaver when having a party. It really does help with the flow to have two going at once. Just another option if you haven't thought of it.
