Texas Goulash

Ingredients:
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes
1 small bag frozen whole kernel corn
2 cups uncooked macaroni
1 can beef broth
3 Tablespoons chili seasoning
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (option
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion.
2. Add the remaining ingredients, except cheese, to the skillet and mix well.
3. Immediately pour mixture into crock pot and cook for 3 1/2 hours on low.
4. When the goulash is done, sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over top before serving.

Years ago, when we lived in Indiana, I had a miscarriage and was bedridden for awhile. My husband was preaching for a small congregation. One of the members made a big pot of a mixture with ground beef and macaroni. I have tried to find a recipe for that dish for years. I think this is it! Can hardly wait to try it!
