Five Ingredient Crock Pot Upside Down Pineapple Cake Dessert

Food Ingredients:


one-half cup butter
one cup of brown sugar
one can of pineapple
half dozen maraschino cherries
one box yellow (or pineapple) cake mix (prepared)

Recipe Preparation:

Spray non-stick cooking spray in crockpot. Melt butter and mix in brown sugar. Place in bottom of slow cooker. Add pineapple (drained) and cherries on mixture. Pour cake mix batter into slow cooker carefully not to disturb other ingredients. Cover slow cooker and cook on high for one hour; followed by cooking on low for approximately three hours.

Hint: If your crock pot does not seal well around lid, you can use tea towels laid over crockpot before placing cover on to cook the cake.
