Corned Beef...Do you prefer point cut or flat cut?

I made my corned beef in my crockpot and it turned out well. This is the first time I had ever cooked a point cut instead of a flat cut. The point cut was much more tender than the flat cuts ever were. Does anybody have a preference or notice a difference between the two cuts of meat?
 
This is a great question! I have not really cooked too much corned beef. A friend of mine really likes it, but he does not cook.

Do you see any other differences between the two cuts of meat?
 
The only difference I could tell was that the point cut was much more tender than a flat cut but that could be just the brand that it was. That's kind of why I was asking on here if anyone else could tell a difference between the two cuts.
 
Wow, I didn't about different cuts. Thanks. I will have to remember that the next time I buy corn beef.
