Slow Cooker Pork Ragu Recipe

Ingredients
  1. 6-7 lb Pork Butt Roast - bone in
  2. 4 Cup Thick Sliced Carrots
  3. 1 Large Sweet Onion - sliced or chopped
  4. 5 Garlic Cloves - chopped
  5. 1/4 teaspoon Ground Pepper
  6. 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  7. Pinch of Fresh Thyme (optional)
  8. 1/2 Cup Water
  9. 4 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
  10. 1 (9oz) Pouch Fire Roasted Tomato Progresso Recipe Starters
Instructions
  1. Layer onions on bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Place pork roast on top of onions and add all other ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 7 hours.
  4. Shred pork with two forks. Remove bone and continue to cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve over cooked pasta or rice. Top with grated parmesan cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.
