One nice thing about having more than one crock pot, is that you can make a main meal as well as a side dish at the same time!
Food Ingredients:
3 cans green beans, partially drained
1 can chicken broth
Bacon pieces and drippings
Recipe Preparation:
Place green beans and chicken broth in slow cooker. Add bacon pieces and the desired amount of bacon drippings. Cover and cook on low for several hours. This can also cook longer if needed on low.
Recipe Variations: Add some Mrs. Dash, or salt and pepper to taste. Also, you can add chopped onions if desirable.
