From time to time, I find chicken on sale and like to cook some in the slow cooker. Then, I use some in soups and freeze some to add to other dishes quickly and easily.


Quick & Easy Crock Pot Chicken Thighs With Two Ingredients

Food Ingredients:

Chicken Thighs
Poultry Seasoning

Recipe Preparation:

Place chicken thighs in crock pot. Sprinkle poultry seasoning on. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for around five hours. The chicken will fall off the bone. I allow this to cool and then separate meat from the bones. I use some and add to homemade chicken noodle soup, or homemade chicken pot pies. Then, I freeze the rest to add to other meals calling for chicken.

This is much cheaper than buying canned chicken. You can also save the juices and add it along with chicken broth to other recipes. Also, from time to time I will add some cut up onion while cooking.
