Crockpot Slow Cooker Recipes: Sausage Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients:

12 ounces bulk turkey sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
4 ounces sliced mushrooms, canned
2 packages seasoned stuffing mix, 7 ounces each
1 to 1 1/2 cups chicken or turkey broth
1 cup orange juice
6 ounces sliced water chestnuts, canned
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Nonstick cooking or butter spray

Directions:

Brown sausage with onion, celery and mushrooms. Pour over stuffing mix in a large bowl.

Add broth, orange juice, and water chestnuts. Mix until moistened.

Add eggs and mix well.

Spray slow cooker crock with nonstick or butter spray, then lightly pack stuffing ingredients into crock.

Cook on HIGH for 45 minutes, then LOW for 4-8 hours.
