2 pounds lean pork boneless loin - cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1 large onion - chopped (1 cup)
2 cloves garlic - finely chopped - or 2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 15 ounce can black beans - rinsed and drained
1 15 ounce can chunky tomato sauce
1 10 ounce can diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 cup water
1-1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours (or high heat setting 3 to 5 hours) or until pork is tender.
