I love the Fix It & Forget IT serie. I have several of their books. I also have a file on the computer of recipes I've found from all over. I have them sorted by main ingredient or style so when I want a recipe for a particular thing, I can find it quickly.

The same is true for recipes that call for rice, like chicken & rice or chicken rice soup. Use cooked rice and add it during the last 20-30 mins otherwise it is just. mush.
I've had a couple go out on me after just a few weeks. These were the kind with lots of fancy features, the programmable ones. The old fashioned ones with a single knob and the choices of 'high', 'low' or 'off' seem to work best lol

All of the above. I have a dozen or so cookbooks I love. I also use Facebook (friends and family) and Pinterest to find recipes. I also have a few rthat were passed down from mom but not many.
I splash some Worcestershire or Soy Sauce on them and then sprinkle some Seasoned Salt on them. Then I pan fry them for a few minutes, searing each side. My family loves them this way.
