I literally thought it was just the process of mixing fruit with gelatin and putting it in a mason jar haha. I can't wait to get into it...

Well, if he wants something that's complicated and will take a long time I'd definitely strongly suggest that he be the one to cook it. Maybe he just doesn't realize how much work goes into cooking and meal planning and one week you should make him be in charge of all of the meals.

Honestly, the crock pot you just described is darn near perfect. The only thing that would make it better is being able to choose a nice forest green colored one. A system specifically made for baking would be nice too, like a bread maker within the crock pot.
